MOBILE, Ala. – Four Duke women’s golfers – Ana Belac, Jaravee Boonchant, Lindy Duncan and Miranda Wang – are set to compete in the grueling LPGA and Epson Tour Qualifying Tournament Q-Series, which will run from Dec. 1-4 and Dec. 8-11.  The first week will be contested at Robert Trent Jones Trail at Magnolia Grove in Mobile, Ala.

The four Blue Devils will be a part of 100 total golfers competing to earn 2023 LPGA Tour eligibility.  The tournament is a 144-hole, stroke-play format with a cut to the top-70 and ties after week one.  The first week of action will take place on the Crossings and Falls courses.

Following 72 holes this week, the top-70 and ties will advance to the second week of qualifying Dec. 8-11 at Highland Oaks Golf Course in Dothan, Ala.

The top golfers at the end of week two will earn 2023 LPGA Tour Membership.  The status will be determined by the finish –

•    Players finishing in positions 1-20 and ties earn LPGA Tour status category 14

•    Players finishing in positions 12-45 and ties earn LPGA Tour status in category 15 and Epson Tour status in category C

•    Players finishing outside the top-45 and ties, who complete all rounds before the cut, will earn Epson Tour status

Duke already features Celine Boutier, Gina Kim, Brittany Lang, Leona Maguire and Yu Liu that own their 2023 LPGA Tour cards.  Kim will be caddying for Boonchant, a former Blue Devil teammate, during Q-Series.
