DOLTHAN, Ala. – Following a long two weeks of LPGA Tour Q-Series, a trio of Duke women’s golfers – Ana Belac, Jaravee Boonchant and Lindy Duncan — earned their 2023 LPGA Tour card after finishing in the top-45 at the Highland Oakes Golf Course in Dothan, Ala.
The trio earned LPGA Tour status in category 15 and Epson Tour status in category C for the 2023 campaign. Duke 2019 graduate Miranda Wang finished tied for 59th earning her Epson Tour status for the upcoming season.
Boonchant turned in a 16-under-par, 558, over the eight rounds of Q-Series as she finished in a tie for 21st. Both Belac and Duncan tied for 38th with a 12-under-par, 562. Wang was tied for 59th with a 7-under, 567.
Hae Ran Ryu won Q-Series with a 29-under, 545.
Duke graduate Gina Kim, who owns her 2023 LPGA Tour card, caddied for Boonchant, a former Blue Devil teammate, during Q-Series.
Duke will feature a total of eight Blue Devils on the 2023 LPGA Tour – Belac, Boonchant, Duncan, Kim, Celine Boutier, Brittany Lang, Yu Liu and Leona Maguire.
The 2023 LPGA schedule will open Jan. 19-22 for the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions in Orlando, Fla.
