MADISON, Wis. — Named one of Wisconsin’s 2022-23 Big Ten Women’s Golfers to Watch in the preseason, senior Nicole Ciskowski is looking to make this spring season one to remember.

Take a quick look into Nicole’s life:

What are your goals for yourself for the spring season?

My goals for this spring are to lead the team to multiple victories and a trip to the postseason. I personally want to lower my scoring average and make a lasting impact on our program.

What makes Wisconsin golf special?

I feel that the culture and traditions of our team is what makes Wisconsin golf special. I have truly loved the interactions with my teammates and coaches every single year. I feel that the small events we do outside of golf have made my time here extremely memorable. The culture of Wisconsin Athletics is truly unique and our golf program dedicates itself to following this.

Favorite memory with the team?

My favorite memory with the team was traveling to Mexico this fall for a golf tournament. I had the opportunity to connect with each of my teammates and coaches in a more casual setting. It was super fun to be in a beautiful area representing Wisconsin on the golf course and relaxing on the beach.

What is something golf has taught you?
The biggest lesson I have learned from golf has been to enjoy the moment. My entire college golf career couldn’t be farther from normal. From Covid-19, to injury, to personal loss, I have truly come to realize that enjoying every moment and opportunity you have will allow you to make lasting memories and slows down time.
