» In a unique 27-hole, 27-hole format, Michigan opened with a 304 team tally and 148 in its next nine holes to position itself seventh after the first day of Virginia’s Collegiate Invitational at the Guadalajara Country Club.

» Hailey Borja led U-M on the first day with a 74 and 39 (113) to put her in a tie for 20th.

» Monet Chun (78-36) sits a shot back from Borja at 114 and is tied for 27th individually.

» All 12 teams in the field are ranked among the top 50 nationally.
