Head Coach Sofie Aagaard on the Lamkin Invitational
“We are excited to get the spring season started after a long winter break away from competition. Our preparations have been good with sessions in our indoor facility, as well as competitive play in the Valley. Madelyn Gamble has shown good form with rounds on or around par. She is striking the ball well and she has really worked on her putting over break which we can see the result of in her consistent scoring. The Farms Golf Club is a challenging golf course with oftentimes fast and firm greens. We will depart on Friday already to add an extra day of preparations on site before we get going with the competition on the first tournament day of 36 holes on Monday.”
