AUSTIN, Texas — A small airplane with a pilot as a single occupant crashed into a golf course in Lakeway on Sunday morning, Austin-Travis County EMS medics reported.

The pilot freed himself from the wreckage, medics said, adding that he was not injured and refused to be taken to a hospital. No one else was hurt.
