Huskies Back In Action At The Causeway Invitational

The Washington women’s golf team plays its second event of the 2023 spring season this Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 27-28, at The Causeway Invitational, at Del Paso Country Club in Sacramento, Calif.
 
The two-day tournament, hosted by UC Davis, gets underway Monday, when the teams will play two rounds, and concludes on Tuesday. Del Paso has played host to two U.S. Women’s Amateur Championships and the 1982 U.S. Women’s Open. More recently, it was home to the 2015 U.S. Senior Open. UW played in the tournament last season as well, when it was known as the Gunrock Invitational.
 
Washington will send the following lineup to Sacramento:

2. Winnie Ng
3. Stefanie Deng
4. Kennedy Knox
5. Camille Boyd
 
All teams will begin play with a shotgun start, beginning at 8:00 a.m. PT Monday.
 
Following this week’s tournament in Sacramento, the Huskies get back to it the following Monday and Tuesday, March 6-7, at the Juli Inkster Invitational, in Fairfax, Calif.
