MESA, Ariz. – Angela Arora holds the top spot in the 74-player field after concluding the second round of the Clover Cup, posting an impressive 68 (-4) at Longbow Golf Club on Saturday.
After logging a 69 in the opening round, the freshman carried her momentum into the second day, posting seven birdies in 18 holes. Arora’s 4-under is her lowest single-round score and fourth round of par or better since joining the team in January 2023. The British Columbia native is -7 overall through 36 holes, and holds a one-stroke lead over the runner-up spot.
As a team, the Lady Vols are in fifth place out of the 14 participating teams, tallying a second-round score of 292. Tennessee is +12 overall (588) with one round to go.
Kayla Holden carded five birdies to shoot +1 (73) in the second round, while Manassanan Chotikabhukkana posted a 76 (+4). The pair is tied for 33rd place ahead of the final round.
Vanessa Gilly shot +3 (75) on the second day of the tournament and is tied for 29th place with 18 holes to go.
After shooting even par in the first round, individual Emily Hawkins recorded a 76 in the second round and stands in 27th place, while Caroline Patterson shot +5 (77) on the second day and is tied for 50th ahead of the final round.
