TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Eighth-ranked Florida State Men’s Golf has been playing like the top-ranked team at the Seminole Intercollegiate, holding a 22-shot lead through nearly two rounds of play on Monday at the Seminole Legacy Golf Club.
Weather conditions forced a later start to Monday’s opening round, but it didn’t dampen the spirits of the hot-shooting Seminoles. Florida State is at 19-under near the completion of the second round, which was suspended due to darkness.

No. 24 Ole Miss remains in second place along with North Alabama at 3-over apiece.
Junior left-handed golfer Gray Albright holds the overall lead at 7-under as he awaits two more holes to play in his second round. The Ocala, Fla., native recorded the best round of his FSU career to open Monday, shooting a 3-under 69. He’s on pace to better that score in his second round as he is currently 4-under in the round.
Albright’s score does not count toward FSU’s team score as he is playing as an individual.

Freshman Luke Clanton is tied for second at 6-under, using an opening-round 69 to jumpstart his day. His first round consisted of three birdies and 15 pars, while his second round includes five birdies with three holes left to play.
Junior Frederik Kjettrup, the Watersound Invitational champion, lurks in fourth place at 5-under. He was also bolstered by an opening-round 69.
Freshman Jack Bigham has been impressive so far, shooting 4-under overall with three holes remaining in the second round.

Six Seminoles surround the Top 10 of the leaderboard, including Brett Roberts (1-under) in ninth place and Cole Anderson (even) tied for 10th.
All golfers will tee off with a shot-gun start on Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. The final round will continue immediately after the conclusion of the second round.
