Li Places Tied for Sixth at Sage Valley Junior

GRANITEVILLE, S.C. – Duke women’s golf signee Katie Li continued her impressive play this week at the Sage Valley Junior Invitational as she turned in a tied for sixth-place finish.  

Li, who hails from Basking Ridge, N.J., collected rounds of 73, 74 and 74 for a 5-over, 221, at the Sage Valley Golf Club in Graniteville, S.C.  Over the three days, Lee registered eight birdies, including three in Saturday’s final round.  She closed the event playing the final nine holes at 2-under-par with birdies on No. 10, No. 15 and No. 17.  

Anna Davis won the tournament with a 7-under, 209.
