Tech to compete in Wolfpack Match Play


BLACKSBURG — The Virginia Tech women’s golf team concludes its regular season at the Wolfpack Match Play hosted by NC State, Monday-Tuesday, at Lonnie Poole Golf Course in Raleigh, N.C.
 
The Hokies are seeded seventh in the event and will face two seed Florida State in the quarterfinals Monday beginning at 8:50 a.m. South Carolina, the top seed, will square off with eight seed Louisville. In the bottom side of the bracket, three seed Virginia will take on six seed North Carolina while four seed Duke goes against five seed NC State.

Quarterfinal winners will advance to play in the match play semifinals Monday afternoon, while the non-advancing teams will play in a consolation bracket.
