NAPA, Calif. – The Washington women’s golf team shaved five strokes off of its first round score and finished the second round of the Silverado Showdown Tuesday in second place, with a team score of 16-over 304 for the round.
For the second day in a row, Stefanie Deng had the low score among the five Husky competitors at the Silverado Resort North Course. Deng carded a 1-over 73, with two birdies and three bogies. Through two rounds, she’s 4-over and tied for 20th place.
Camille Boyd had three birdies and five bogies on her scorecard, good for a 2-over 74.
Kennedy Knox turned in a 78 for her second round, while Jamie Hsieh shot a 79.
The third and final round of the regular season finale is Wednesday.
