AUGUSTA, Ga. — If you can’t watch Tiger Woods finish his second round of the 2023 Masters on Saturday morning, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.
The 15-time major champion is back at Augusta National this week with a pair of records on his mind, one more in reach than the other. Woods’ quest for a record-tying sixth green jacket took a hit on Thursday after a 2-over 74 in the opening round left him nine shots behind the trio of leaders Brooks Kopeka, Viktor Hovland and Jon Rahm.
If Woods, 47, can find a way to make the weekend cut, he’ll tie the record for most consecutive cuts made at the Masters with 23 to join Gary Player and Fred Couples. The 82-time winner on the PGA Tour has never missed the cut at the Masters as a professional since his debut in 1997 (he was low amateur in 1995 and missed the cut in 1996 as an amateur).
Woods will resume his second round at 8 a.m. ET on Saturday morning after weather (and falling trees) suspended play on Friday. He’ll begin with the tricky tee shot on the par-3 12th alongside Hovland and Xander Schauffele once again.

First swing of the day and Tiger absolutely flagged this one. Went right at the pin and left just three feet for an opening birdie. Oh, Tiger. This one never had a chance. Missed left the entire way. Par.
I mean that’s a gimme for almost any professional, let alone a 15-time major champ and five-time winner here. If he wants to make the cut, he’s got to make that.

Due to his vast number of past surgeries it takes Tiger a few hours to get warmed up in the mornings, especially on cold and wet days like today, so this first full swing should be interesting to say the least.
He lays back with a 3 wood and finds the center of the fairway. Useful. Smooth. He appears to be moving pretty well, too, given the conditions.
Second shot is a lay up down the right side to set up an approach from just over 100 yards, and from there Tiger hit another gem with a wedge. Landed his approach about 10 feet below the hole and this one had some zip as it spun back to 17 feet for another birdie look.
