CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Fresh off Thomas Pieters’ finish at the Masters last weekend, four other Fighting Illini are back in action this week on the PGA Tour and Korn Ferry Tour.
Pieters, who finished tie for fourth in his first Masters appearance in 2017, broke through to make the cut at the prestigious event for the second time in his career over the weekend. He finished tied for 48th with a tally of 296 (+8).
PGA TOUR
The PGA Tour rolls into Week 15 at the RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head Island, S.C., where Thomas Detry and Nick Hardy will both tee off for the first time since April 2 at the Valero Texas Open where Hardy finished 28th and Detry captured a share of 64th.
Detry is currently 30th in the FedEx Cup rankings and has moved to 80th in the official World Golf Rankings. Hardy enters this week ranked 90th and 174th, respectively.
KORN FERRY TOUR
On the Korn Ferry Tour, Michael Feagles and Brian Campbell are both slated to tee off this week at the Veritex Bank Championship at Texas Rangers Golf Club in Arlington, Texas.
Feagles is coming off of a top-25 finish in his last outing at the Astara Chile Classic, March 30-April 2 in Santiago, Chile.
