LOS ANGELES – The No. 24 UCLA women’s golf team opens postseason play at the Pac-12 Women’s Golf Championships set to take place from Monday, April 17 through Wednesday, April 19 at Papago Golf Club in Phoenix, Ariz.
The three-day, 54-hole stroke play competition will play a par 72 with a course yardage of 6,563 and feature the 11 Pac-12 Conference teams that sponsor women’s golf.

The Field
Five of the Pac-12 teams at this year’s event are ranked in the top-25 of the latest Golfweek poll released this Thursday. Leading the way is No. 2 Stanford and No. 6 Oregon in the top-10 as well as No. 11 Arizona State (course host), No. 15 USC and No. 24 UCLA.
Stanford’s Rose Zhang is the No. 1-ranked women’s golfer in the country. Campos, who is coming off back-to-back wins to close the regular season, is the second highest-ranked golfer competing in the field at No. 11.
Canales is the Bruins’ second highest-ranked golfer at No. 58.
UCLA at the Pac-12 Championships
UCLA has won seven Pac-10/12 conference titles, five of which coming with head coach Carrie Forsyth at the helm of the program. Forsyth’s last conference championship was four seasons ago (excluding the COVID-19 pandemic-shortened season) in 2018 at Broadmoor Golf Club.
