Women's Golf Wraps Up Play at Lady Buckeye Invitational


COLUMBUS, Ohio. – Rutgers women’s golf completed play in the final round of the Lady Buckeye Invitational on Sunday afternoon in Columbus.

Because of player withdrawals due to illness, the Scarlet Knights were unable to post an official team score and did not register a finish on the team leaderboard.

Competing as an individual, Leigha Devine paced RU with a t-41 finish. She finished her weekend strong, shooting a 1-over 73 in her final round to post a 9-over 225 (80-72-73) for the event. Devine rolled in a pair of birdies to go along with 13 pars in her final round. 

Rikke Nordvik finished in a tie for 61st after shooting a 7-over 79 in the final round, posting a 16-over 232 (75-78-79). Like Devine, she also had a pair of birdies in the final round, 

Lucrezia Rossettin rounded out the individual performers for Rutgers, shooting a 33-over 249 (87-81-81) in the tournament. 

The Scarlet Knights will now shift their focus to Big Ten Championships, which begin Friday, April 21 in Pittsburgh.
