PINEHURST, N.C. – The No. 6 ranked and second-seeded Florida State Men’s Golf team begins postseason play on Friday when it competes at the ACC Men’s Golf Championship held April 21-24 at the Country Club of North Carolina in Pinehurst, N.C.

The format includes three rounds of stroke play on Friday and Saturday followed by match play semifinals on Sunday and match play finals on Monday.

The semifinals and finals of the ACC Men’s Golf Championship match play will be televised live on ACC Network Extra from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Ryan Burr (play-by-play) and Steve Scott (analyst) will provide the call. A championship recap show will air May 1 at 9 p.m. on ACCN.

Florida State is coming off a dominant performance at the Lewis Chitengwa Memorial in Charlottesville, tying a program record for lowest score vs. par at 41-under in the win. Redshirt junior Cole Anderson earned his first collegiate win, tying atop the leaderboard at 11-under. Anderson is a member of the Haskins Award Watch List.

Anderson will be joined by mainstay starters Frederik Kjettrup, Brett Roberts, Luke Clanton and Jack Bigham. Gray Albright is also on the travel roster for Pinehurst.

Friday will consist of two rounds of stroke play, with split tee times staggered between 7:30 a.m. and 9:18 a.m. before going into continuous play in the second round. Saturday will consist of the final round of stroke play beginning with split tees from 9 a.m. to 10:48 a.m.

The latest Golfstat rankings show four ACC teams ranking in the Top 25, including top seed North Carolina (ranked second), FSU (6), Georgia Tech (12) and Virginia (16).
