COLLEGE PARK, MD – The No. 33-ranked Maryland women’s golf team was selected to play in the NCAA Regionals in Athens, Ga. May 8-10.
The Terrapins are the No. 6 seed in the Athens Regional. They will compete at the University of Georgia Golf Course. South Carolina is the top seed in the Athens Regional, followed by No. 2 San Jose State, No. 3 Ole Miss, No. 4 Ohio State and No. 5 Georgia.
The selection will send the Terps to NCAA Regionals as a team for the first time under Kelly Hovland‘s tenure as head coach and sixth all-time as a program.
