TUCSON, Ariz. – For the 30th consecutive season, the Arizona women’s golf team has been selected for NCAA postseason play after being placed in the Raleigh Regional as announced on Wednesday by the NCAA.
The Wildcats are the fifth seed in Raleigh, N.C., and will begin play on Monday, May 8 at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course, the home course for the NC State Wolfpack. A total of 12 teams and six individuals will compete at each of the six regional sites.
This season will be the first where the top five teams and the top individual not on an advancing team from each region will move on to the NCAA Championship at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz., from May 19-24. The final round of stroke play on May 22 and both days of match play on May 23 and 24 will be televised live on Golf Channel.

The Wildcats are led by Gile Bite Starkute and Carolina Melgrati, who both earned All Pac-12 Honorable Mention recognition this season and helped the Wildcats to a fourth place finish at the Pac-12 Championships last week.
