GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, N.J.  – The Penn State men’s golf team heads to Galloway Township, N.J. Friday through Sunday to compete in the 2023 Big Ten Championship at the Galloway National Golf Club.
 
The Galloway National Golf Club plays as a par-71, 7,111-yard course. Teams will play 18 holes each day with tee times beginning at 9 a.m. Friday and Saturday and 8 a.m. on Sunday.
 
All 14 Big Ten teams will compete this weekend for the conference crown. Four Big Ten teams are ranked in the top 40 of the GolfStat rankings in #3 Illinois, #25 Ohio State, #28 Northwestern and #36 Purdue.
 
Penn State will be represented by senior Patrick Sheehan, sophomore Jake Griffin, junior James Allen, senior Jimmy Meyers and freshman Billy Pabst Jr. The Nittany Lions are coming off a pair of strong tournament showings in each of the last two weekends, winning the Rutherford Intercollegiate at the Penn State Blue Course and finishing tied for fourth in a 16-team field at Ohio State’s Kepler Intercollegiate.
 
The Galloway National Golf Club course overlooks 5,000 feet of bay front property that is just north of the Atlantic City skyline, with its dramatic contours, ideal soil, lush wooded coverage, and breathtaking vistas. Galloway National Golf Club has hosted many championships for the New Jersey State Golf Association, Golf Association of Philadelphia, NCAA, and USGA. 
 
Live scoring for each round of the Big Ten Championships will be available on GolfStat.
