In the first-ever New Jersey-hosted conference championships the Scarlet Knights finished in 10th place with a +33 score. It rained throughout the entirety of the three-day event and only Illinois was able to shoot under par as a team (-8) and finish in first place.

Weston Jones had the top finish for the Scarlet Knights leading the team tied for 23rd. Rhett Sellers finished tied for 31st, Noah Kumar was tied for 37th, Luke Wells was tied for 46th and Xavier Marcoux was tied for 57th.

On Sunday for the final round of the Big Ten Championships there was a over two-hour delay in the morning that pushed tee times back to around 11:00 a.m.

The highlight of day two on Saturday for RU was Wells and Jones leading the Scarlet Knights with even rounds as they battled through the harsh weather with great respective rounds. On day two Sellers had RU’s lone eagle in the tournament on the second hole to kickstart the day.

The event was a success for the state of New Jersey and hopes are that Galloway National will host another event for the conference in the near future.
