Washington State to host the NCAA Pullman Regional at Palouse Ridge May 8-10


PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University will serve as host of the 2023 NCAA Women’s Golf Pullman Regional next week, as 12 teams and six individuals from across the country will travel to Palouse Ridge Golf Club May 8-10 for a chance to punch their ticket into the 2023 NCAA Women’s Golf Championship, which includes WSU women’s golf senior Darcy Habgood.

Tournament Format

The 2023 NCAA Pullman Regional will be held at Palouse Ridge Golf here in Pullman. The course is 6,405 yards and will be played with a par 72. Teams will play one 18-hole round per day with each round beginning at 8 a.m. PT. The tournament begins Monday, May 8, at Palouse Ridge and concludes Wednesday, May 10. Teams will also play a practice round at Palouse Ridge this Sunday starting at 9 a.m. PT. Both the practice round and tournament play at the NCAA Pullman Regional is free for all to attend.

Monday, May 8 (First Round):
8-9:50 a.m. PT

Tuesday, May 9 (Second Round):
8-9:50 a.m. PT

Wednesday, May 10 (Third Round):
8-9:50 a.m. PT               

The Field

A total of 12 teams and six individuals will make up the field at the 2023 NCAA Pullman Regional. Stanford, who is the defending NCAA National Champion, is the Region’s No. 1 seed. Baylor will be the No. 2 seed, while the 2023 Pac-12 Championship Southern California comes to Pullman as the No. 3 seed. Clemson, who won the 2023 ACC Championship, is the No. 4 seed. Other teams coming to Palouse Ridge for the NCAA Pullman Regional are No. 5 Kentucky, No. 6 Texas Tech, No. 7 Houston, No. 8 North Carolina, No. 9 UNLV, No. 10 Sacramento State, No. 11 Cal Poly, and No. 12 Green Bay.

Along with Washington State’s Darcy Habgood, individuals playing at the 2023 NCAA Pullman Regional will be Camille Boyd (Washington), Tiffany Le (UC Riverside), Harriet Lynch (Fresno State), Stefanie Deng (Washington), and Cassie Kim (Gonzaga).
