Women’s Golf Improves on Day Two of NCAA Championship – Clemson Tigers Official Athletics Site

Clemson, S.C. – Savannah Grewal shot a three-under 69 to lead Clemson to a -1 second round and seven-spot jump after the second round of the NCAA Championship at the 6,384-yard, par-72 Grayhawk Golf Club. The Tigers return to the course on Sunday at 11:20 a.m. local (2:20 p.m. eastern). 

Grewal finished the day with five birdies and two bogeys, with four birdies on the front nine. Annabelle Pancake finished the front nine at +1, but recorded two birdies and no bogeys on the back nine to finish at -1 for the day. 

Chloe Holder had one bogey and one birdie on the front nine, then was even par on all nine holes on the back nine to finish at even, while Isabella Rawl was +2 on the front and recorded three birdies on the back nine. Melena Barrientos rounded out the Tigers’ line up at +3.

The top 15 teams after tomorrow’s third round will advance to Monday’s stroke-play finals.
