Today, he had a team-high five birdies and was 4 under through 11 holes but triple bogeyed the par-4 12th hole and finished at even par. The senior from Carlsbad, Calif., is tied for sixth place in the individual standings at 2-under 138.

Georgia Tech’s Ross Steelman (64-69) has the individual lead for the second day in a row at 7-under 133.

Ford is tied for 19th at 1-over 141.

Round three is Sunday. The top 15 teams in the 30-team field after Sunday’s third round make the cut for Monday’s fourth and final round of stroke play.
