CLEMSON, S.C. – Savannah Grewal and Isabella Rawl were named to the 2022-23 Women’s Golf Coaches Association’s (WGCA) All-America Scholar Team, announced by the organization last week. Clemson has had at least one honoree every year in the program’s existence (ten consecutive).

Savannah Grewal from Mississauga, Ontario is a health science major with a 3.64 career GPA who graduated from Clemson in May. She competed in 35 rounds for the Tigers during the 2022-23 season. Grewal led the team in stroke average at 71.77 and was named to the 2023 All-ACC Team. She also qualified for the NCAA Individual National Championship earlier this spring, just the second player in Clemson history to do so. Grewal carded a 63 (-9) in the final round of the Pullman Regional, the lowest round gross score in Clemson history.

Freshman Isabella Rawl of Lexington, S.C., recorded a 3.76 GPA in her first year with the Tigers. Rawl competed in 23 rounds during the season and earned the clinching point in the Tigers’ first-ever ACC Championship.

A total of 1,401 women’s collegiate golfers in Division I, II, and III were recognized with the prestigious honor.  Athletes must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 to be selected for the team and have played in 50% of the college’s regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year.
