Braden Ash Named Arizona Women’s Golf Assistant Coach


TUCSON, Ariz.Arizona women’s golf head coach Laura Ianello has announced the hiring of Braden Ash as an assistant coach with the program. For the past two seasons, Ash has served as the men’s and women’s golf head coach at his alma mater, Pacific University in Oregon.  

 

“I’m very happy to announce that Braden Ash will be our new women’s assistant golf coach,” Ianello said. “Braden has head coaching experience and will add much value to our women’s golf team. His energy and knowledge will continue to help our women develop and win.” 

 

In 2023, Ash helped guide the Pacific women’s golf team to a win at the Puget Sound Invite and has led the team to improve their national ranking by over 50 spots.  

 

As an undergrad from 2016-20, Ash was a member of the golf team at Pacific and was a team captain for three of the four years.  

 

His instruction experience includes time with Griffin Golf and US Sports Camps and he was a caddy for three years at Chambers Bay Golf Course, the site of the 2015 U.S. Open Championship. 

 

Ash earned his bachelor’s degree from Pacific in Business Administration, Management and Operations in 2020. He is a PGA Associate and progressing towards his PGA Class A membership.
