LAW EMBRACING HOME COMFORTS AHEAD OF TITLE DEFENCE IN LONDON

Bronte Law

Bronte Law is happy to be back on home soil this week as she gets set to defend her Aramco Team Series presented by PIF – London title in front of friends and family at Centurion Club.

It was a phenomenal week for the Englishwoman last time out as she rolled in a monster eagle putt on the 18th to pip compatriot Georgia Hall by one shot and win the Individual title – her second on the Ladies European Tour (LET).

Now back in Europe ahead of a busy summer of golf, Law is embracing the comforts of home and is excited to be teeing up on the LET once again.

“It’s good to be back,” she said. “We just recreated my winning putt on 18 so that was fun. I have a lot of fond memories and love being back in England. Law arrives in London following a difficult start to the 2023 season – her best finish coming at the Aramco Team Series presented by PIF – Singapore Individual event when she placed T11.

But after making the cut last week at the U.S. Women’s Open, the 28-year-old is now happy with where her game is at as she chases a third victory on the LET.

“I played really nicely last week,” Law said. “Pebble [Beach] is obviously a beast, and I didn’t have the Sunday that I wanted. But I hit a lot of nice shots. It can be tough, there were a couple holes coming in where I dropped some shots, but overall my golf is in a pretty good place.”

As for the format, Law is one of 36 captains this week and is once again relishing the unique concept on offer at Centurion Club – one which will see her lead a side of two professionals and one amateur in the team competition over the first two days.

“You have to play your own game, but it’s really fun to be able to share the experience with other people,” the Solheim Cup star continued. “Even if you can have one thing that you say to your teammates that is slightly positive and keeps them going, you get that sense of comradery that…
