The Haskins Foundation named University of North Carolina men’s golfers David Ford, Austin Greaser and Dylan Menante to the preseason watch list for the Fred Haskins Award presented by Stifel Watch.
The Haskins Award is in its 54th year of naming the National Men’s College Player of the Year.
Ford, Greaser and Menante are three of 24 players on the preseason list, which includes eight players from five different Atlantic Coast Conference teams. Nine of the 24 players, including all three Tar Heels, represented the United States in winning the 2023 Walker Cup at the Old Course in St Andrews on September 2-3.
Carolina and Vanderbilt both have three players on the watch list.
Ludvig Aberg, who was named to the European Ryder Cup Team, won the 2023 Haskins Award.
