The Missouri men’s golf team began its second day of action at the Mirabel Maui Jim Invitational, placing 13th as a team with an even-par score of 284.

Sophomore Virgilio Paz led the Tigers during the first 18 holes of action – recording a two-under 69 behind five birdies and three bogeys. Jack Lundin isn’t far behind his teammate with a one-under 70 – making it his fourth round under par in as many attempts during the 2023-24 campaign.

Freshman Adam Miller (72), junior Dagbjartur Sigurbrandsson (73) and senior Charlie Crockett (74) completed the top five for the Tigers on Friday.

Junior Trevor Mierl was also in action on Friday at the Maui Jim Individual at Legend Trail. The junior transfer completed the first below-par round of his Division I career by firing a three-under 69 to place third after 18 holes of action.

Day two begins at 9 a.m. CT on Saturday morning for Mizzou in Arizona.
