Aas earns top honors at Wrigglesworth Invitational


ALTOONA, Wis. — After 36 holes at the Wrigglesworth Invitational, Daniel Aas of Wisconsin men’s golf finished first among over 100 golfers at two-under par. 

Monday, September 18

Round 2

Aas snuck ahead in the second and final round, shooting a two-under 69 five birdies to place first. The senior birdied three consecutive holes to push himself ahead of the competition. Carter Pitcairn followed closely behind, carding a three-over 74 to grab second place. Graham Moody also shot a three-over 74 to finish tied for seventh. James Boustead shot a five-over, finishing tied for 18th. 

Sunday, September 17

Round 1

Pitcairn led the Badger individuals in the first round of the Wrigglesworth Invitational, carding a two-under 69 with four birdies. Aas made par, while Moody shot a three-over 74, and freshman Boustead tallied a six-over 77.
