Men’s Golf Opens Play at SEC Fall Preview


The Missouri men’s golf team began play at the SEC Fall Preview with 36 holes on Monday, placing 12th in the team standings.

The Tigers carded an even-par 568 through two rounds, posting a two-over 286 on the par-71 course in the first round before responding with a two-under 282 on the second 18 holes of action.

Senior Jack Lundin continued his strong play during the early-season campaign – leading MU with a four-under day (69-69). The senior carded 10 birdies on the day to finish 21st overall through two rounds of action.

Senior Charlie Crockett followed at even par (71-71), while Alfons Bondesson (72-71), Virgilio Paz (74-74) and Dagbjartur Sigurbrandsson (79-71) rounded out the day for Mizzou.

The final round of stroke play begins on Tuesday morning at 8 a.m.
