NORMAN, Okla. – The Illinois women’s golf team finished the Schooner Fall Classic in 15th after carding a 54-hole total of 869 (+29) at Belmar Golf Club.
Isabel Sy recorded her first Top 20 finish of the season by firing a third round score of 70 (E) to place tied for 17th. Sy went bogey-free on the back with a pair of birdies to begin the round.
Erica Lee finished tied for 51st after her final round of 70 (E). Lee would collect three birdies along the way.
Anna Ritter matched her career-low round with a 2-under 68 to place tied for 68th.
Elizabeth Beek finished tied for 74th after posting a third round 74 (+4) and Sophia Sulkar finished tied for 77th after a final round of 78 (+8).
Wake Forest took home the team title at 29-under (811) and Virginia Tech’s Morgan Ketchum took home the individual crown at 9-under (201).
The Fighting Illini will be back in action on Monday, Oct. 2, when they head to Golf, Ill., to compete in the Windy City Collegiate Classic.
