ROUND TWO UNDER WAY AT THE LACOSTE LADIES OPEN DE FRANCE

The second round of the Lacoste Ladies Open de France is underway at Golf Barrière in Deauville after rain fell overnight and through the early morning, easing at around 9am.

Overnight leader Annabel Dimmock withdrew prior to the start of the second round due to an injury, giving Laura Fuenfstueck and Liz Young a two-way share of the lead on Friday morning.

However, with a bogey on the first followed by back-to-back birdies on the second and third holes, Young quickly took the advantage at seven under par.

French pair Céline Boutier and Nastasia Nadaud, who are playing in the same group, were both one under par for their first three holes. Boutier birdied the par-3 third, while Nadaud bogeyed the first but eagled the second. Fellow Frenchwoman Emie Peronnin was also at one-under-par for her first three holes this morning.

At the start of the day, the projected cut to the leading 60 players and ties fell at one-over-par. Follow live scoring for the latest updates.
