Men’s Golf Wraps Up Fall Season at North Carolina


The Missouri men’s golf team is set for its final tournament of the fall season, competing at The Williams Cup in Wilmington, North Carolina.

TOURNAMENT INFO

The action at the Williams Cup begins on Monday morning with 36 holes of action before wrapping up on Tuesday with an additional 18 holes. The Tigers tee off on the opening day at 7:30 a.m.

Joining Mizzou on the course are Arizona State, Auburn, Elon, Florida, Louisville, NC State, North Carolina, North Florida and UNC Wilmington.

The 10 schools are set to compete at Eagle Point Golf Club, a par-72 course that measures 7,364 yards.

TIGERS RECEIVING VOTES

Mizzou earned votes in the latest Bushnell/Golfweek Division I Coaches poll, earning three votes for the first time this season.

Overall, this week’s field includes four nationally-ranked schools, including No. 1 North Carolina, No. 2 Auburn, No. 6 Arizona State and No. 16 Florida.

LAST TIME OUT

The Tigers placed 12th at the SEC Fall Preview Sept. 25-26, before falling to Georgia in match play, 3-2.

Senior Charlie Crockett (-1) led the Tigers with Alfons Bondesson (E) and Jack Lundin (E) following closely behind.

UP NEXT
