Clemson Fifth After Two Rounds of Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship – Clemson Tigers Official Athletics Site

Knoxville, Tenn. – Clemson women’s golf moved up two spots in the standings after the second round of the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship, finishing the day at +2. The three-day event is held at the par-71 Cherokee Country Club in Knoxville, Tenn.

The Tigers turned in the second-best round of the day at +2 and now sit at +6 on the tournament, just one shot out of fourth (Louisville, +5) and two shots out of third (Pepperdine, +4). Ole Miss sits alone in second place at +1, while UCF still holds a seven-shot lead at -6. 

Individually, Sydney Roberts and Melena Barrientos each finished the day at -1, carding the best rounds of the day for the Tigers (70). Isabella Rawl finished the second round at +1, while Annabelle Pancake finished at +3 and is currently tied for 12th. Chloe Holder finished the second round at +5 and Katherine Schuster, Clemson’s individual participant, finished at +3. 

The Tigers return to the course for the final round on Tuesday, paired with Louisville and Maryland, for a 9:15 a.m. shotgun start.
