Virginia Athletics | UVA Tied for First After Second Round at Stanford Intercollegiate

STANFORD, Calif.  – The Virginia women’s golf team is tied for first place with USC after 36 holes of play at the Stanford Intercollegiate. The Cavaliers shot 4-under 280 on Saturday for a two-round total of 5-under 563. UCLA is one shot behind the Trojans and Hoos.

Amanda Sambach led UVA during the second round by shooting 4-under 67. She enters the final round in sixth place at 3-under 139. First year Jaclyn LaHa is tied for second place, one shot off the lead, as UVA’s top competitor on the leaderboard. LaHa posted a score of 2-under 69 on Saturday.

UVA’s Megan Propeck is in 14th place at 141 thanks to a second-round score of even par 71. Rebecca Skoler is 68th at 150 and Kiera Bartholomew is 86th at 154. Skoler shot 77 on Saturday while Bartholomew posted a score of 73.
