STANFORD, Calif. – The Washington women’s golf team wrapped up the 2023 fall season with a 14th-place finish at the Stanford Intercollegiate at Stanford Golf Course.

The Huskies finished with a three-day total of 877 strokes, 25-over par.

Senior Camille Boyd had the low UW round of the day Sunday, and shared low Husky finisher honors with sophomore Carmen Lim.

On the day, Boyd’s scorecard included five birdies and an eagle helping her to finish with an even-par 71. For the tournament, she tied for 35th place with a three-round total of 4-over 217.

Lim, who carded a 70 on Saturday, finished with a 1-over 72 Sunday to tie Boyd at 4-over overall.

Stefanie Deng was also 1-over on Sunday and finished 5-over for the tournament. Adithi Anand and Jenny Chang both finished the tournament 17-over.

“As a staff, we need to figure out how to jump start our team,” said head coach Mary Lou Mulflur. “In rounds 1 and 3, we really started off very poorly and managed to dig our way out a bit. We just gave up way too much early in our rounds. That seemed to be a pattern this fall and something we will address over the winter.”

The Huskies return to action next February, when the spring season gets underway at the Beach Invitational, Feb. 5-6 in Seal Beach, Calif.
