MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin women’s golf head coach Todd Oehrlein announced on Wednesday that two new golfers — Lauren Sammon and Izzi Stricker — have signed a national letter of intent to attend the University of Wisconsin. The talented student-athletes will join the Badgers roster beginning with the 2024-25 season.
“We are thrilled to welcome Izzy and Lauren to our program. They are both extremely talented and will add a lot of competitiveness right away,” said Oehrlein. “In addition to being great players, they are both outstanding students who bring first-class character and habits to our team. We are confident that they’ll be great student-athletes overall at Wisconsin and we can’t wait to get them on campus next fall!”
