CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – The Atlantic Coast Conference has announced the championship dates and sites for its 2024 spring sports.
The spring championships begin on April 17, with the initial day of competition at the 2024 ACC Tennis Championships at Cary Tennis Park in Cary, North Carolina. The following day, the 2024 ACC Women’s Golf Championship tees off in Wilmington, North Carolina, at Porters Neck Country Club on April 18. One day later, the 2024 ACC Men’s Golf Championship starts in Charlotte, North Carolina, at the Charlotte Country Club on April 19.
The 2024 ACC Women’s Lacrosse Championship returns to American Legion Memorial Stadium in Charlotte on April 24, 26 and 28. The first round of the championship will be held at campus sites on April 21.
American Legion Memorial Stadium will also be the host site of the 2024 ACC Men’s Lacrosse Championship on May 3 and 5. The Men’s Lacrosse Championship is returning for the first time since the 2019 season and will feature the top four teams in the final ACC regular-season standings.
For the first time, the 2024 ACC Softball Championship will be contested on the campus of Duke University, with the Blue Devils playing host to the event from May 8-11.
Georgia Tech will serve as the host of the 2024 ACC Outdoor Track & Field Championships from May 9-11 at George C. Griffin Track in Atlanta. On May 17-18, the 2024 ACC Rowing Championship returns to Lake Wheeler in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The 2024 ACC Baseball Championship returns to Truist Field in Charlotte from May 21-26.
The ACC claimed four NCAA championships during the 2023 spring season, finishing the academic year with a conference-leading nine NCAA titles. Spring NCAA championships were won by Virginia in Men’s Tennis, North Carolina in Women’s Tennis, Wake Forest in Women’s Golf, and Notre Dame in Men’s Lacrosse.
