CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Former Illini are in action all across the world again this week, with program alums set to tee off everywhere from Pebble Beach to Bahrain, in addition to events in Panama and Mexico.

PGA TOUR

Thomas Detry and Nick Hardy are set for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am at Pebble Beach Golf Links in Pebble Beach, Calif.  The event has been designated as a PGA TOUR Signature Event with an improved field that is limited to 80 players in 2024.

Detry was in contention throughout last week’s Farmers Insurance Open before eventually closing the event with a top-20 finish.

Hardy, and fellow Illini alumnus Adrien Dumont de Chassart, also made the cut at Torrey Pines. For Hardy, it marked his third cut in as many events to open the 2024 season, and his best finish of the year – a tie for 37th – after finishing T47 at The Sentry and grabbing a share of 42nd at the Sony Open in Hawai’i. Dumont de Chassart played through to the weekend for the first time in his rookie season, finishing 75th

DP WORLD TOUR

Like countryman Thomas Detry, former Illini and Belgium native Matthis Besard is also coming off of a top-20 finish last weekend. In just his fourth event since earning DP World Tour through Q School in November, Besard carded rounds of 70-64-68-71 for a career-best T13 finish at the Ras Al Khaimah Championship.

This week, Besard will look to maintain momentum when he tees off at the Bahrain Championship at Ryal Golf Club in Bahrain.

KORN FERRY TOUR

Another pair of Illini – Brian Campbell and Tommy Kuhl – are set to tee off at Panama Golf Club in Panama City, Panama, this week.

Campbell makes his third start of the season and is coming off a T20 finish in his last outing at The Bahamas Great Abaco Classic.

Kuhl will make his Korn Ferry Tour debut after Monday Qualifying for the event.
