Palos Verdes, Calif. – Clemson women’s golf is set to participate in the 2024 Therese Hession Regional Challenge, held at the 6,017-yard, par-71 Palos Verdes Golf Club. This is the Tiger’s first team-event of the spring season.

The tournament was scheduled to be held Sunday, February 4 – Tuesday, February 6, but a poor weather forecast for Palos Verdes has forced a schedule change. What was originally a one-round-each-day event is now two rounds of match play to be held on Saturday, February 3, with the third-round date/time to be determined. The Tigers are matched up against San Jose and all teams will start with a 10:45 am shotgun start (7:45 am local time).

Clemson is coming off a solid fall, including a win at their final team event, the Landfall Tradition. The Tigers’ lineup will look different this spring, as senior Savannah Grewal chose to forego her last semester of eligibility and turn pro while going through LPGA Q-School, en route to earning her LPGA Tour card.

Clemson will be led by sophomore Isabella Rawl, followed by Melena Barrientos and Sydney Roberts, who participated last weekend in the Lady Bulldog Individual Championship. Chloe Holder and Annabelle Pancake round out the Tigers’ lineup, and freshman Ivy Schulze will compete as an individual.

The event field includes 14 top-30 teams, with the full list including tournament-host Ohio State, Pepperdine, Mississippi State, South Carolina, UCLA, Arizona State, Wake Forest, Oregon, Baylor, Georgetown, USC, Texas, San Jose State, Arizona and Florida.
