WAIMEA, Hawaii – Facing one of the deepest fields of the season in college golf, No. 5 Washington will test its metle while playing in paradise, competing Feb. 8-10 in the Amer Ari at Mauna Lani Resort Golf Club’s North Course.
The Huskies are coming off of a solid showing at the Southwestern Invitational the previous week, finishing strong at six-under in the final round, the low round of the day, to earn a fifth-place finish.
Taehoon Song led the way for the Dawgs, firing a final-round 64 to earn a runner-up finish, just a single shot back of the lead. It was the third round of 65 or under for the senior from South Korea.
