The finish, in tandem with the Lady Vols’ second-place result at the Collegiate Invitational, marks the first consecutive top-three finishes since they did it in four straight tournaments from October 2018 to February 2019. Tennessee recorded the most pars (117) in the two-round tournament, led by Angela Arora (26) and Holden (25).
Two strokes behind Holden was junior Bailey Davis, who shot a 3-under (69) in round two to shoot up the leaderboards and finish tied for 11th place with an even-par (144). The sophomore Arora also shot a round-two 69 to finish at 2-over (146) in 20th place, her first top-20 finish of the season.
Sophomore Manassanan Chotikabhukkana followed her 75 on day one with a 73 to shoot 4-over (148) and place 30th. Senior Vanessa Gilly logged Tennessee’s fourth par-or-better round of the day, shooting an even 72 to finish 9-over (153) tied for 55th place.
