The flagship event of the PGA Tour’s schedule has arrived as the best field in golf will battle for the Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra, the third stop of the Florida Swing and the fifth signature event of 2024.
Defending champion and world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler will be joined by Rory McIlroy (2019 Players champion), Max Homa, Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas (2021 Players champion), Xander Schauffele, Patrick Cantlay, Viktor Hovland and many more.
TPC Sawgrass is par-72 track measuring 7,275 yards.
The total purse is $25 million with $4.5 million going to the winner. Plus, 750 FedEx Cup points will be awarded to the champion.
