WILMINGTON, N.C. – The Penn State men’s golf team is set to compete in the Seahawk Intercollegiate Sunday and Monday at the Country Club of Landfall’s Nicklaus Course.
Two rounds will be played Sunday with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start, while Monday’s final round will also begin with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start on the par-72, 7,030-yard course.
The loaded 17-team tournament field features #2 Auburn, #76 Arkansas State, Campbell, #93 Davidson, Duke, FAU, Jacksonville, JMU, ULM, Maryland, #91 Minnesota, Penn State, #38 VCU, Virginia Tech, #67 Stetson, Wright State and host #79 UNCW.
The Seahawk Intercollegiate will serve as Penn State’s fourth tournament of the spring season. Jake Griffin has led the Nittany Lions in each of their last two tournaments, including Penn State’s most recent competition in The Johnnie-O at Sea Island on March 11-12.
