Senior Jack Lundin finished day one of The Hootie at Bulls Bay in the top 10, placing seventh overall of 81 golfers through 18 holes.
Fresh off three-straight top-five finishes, Lundin recorded a one-under 71 on the day in tough conditions Sunday as only 14 of the 81 golfers finished under par. Lundin got off to a strong start with three birdies in the first five holes before maintaining his top-10 finish by recording 11 pars in the remaining 13 holes.
Sophomore Alfons Bondesson is second on the team with a 73, followed by Charlie Crockett (77) and Trevor Mierl (77).
As a team, the Tigers are tied for 10th with a total score of 299 (+11).
Round two tees off at 8:45 a.m. CT on Monday morning.
