Terrapins Wrap Up at Clemson Invitational


SUNSET, SC — The Maryland Women’s golf team concluded the Clemson Invitational this weekend at The Reserve at Lake Keowee in Sunset, S.C.

Senior Patricie Mackova led the Terps with her score of 215, tied for 13th. Her best performance was in the second round, shooting -4 with a 68. She finished the first round with a 74 and earned a score of 73 in the third. 

Sophomore Nicha Kanpai finished with a score of 223 (77-72-74). Following close behind was fifth-year Maria Vittoria Corbi earning a score of 224 (74-77-73), and junior Panassaya Somchit with a score of 225 (75-71-79). Fifth-year Virginia Bossi closed out the weekend with a 226 (75-72-79). 

As a team, the Terrapins finished in 12th out of 16 teams with a score of 880 (298-283-299).

Up next, the Terps head to Dallas, Texas April 8-9, 2024 for the Texas Showdown hosted by SMU.
