Men’s Golf Moves Up Two Places After Second Round


University of Missouri men’s golf improved its ranking by two spots during the second round of The Hootie at Bulls Bay and now sits in eighth place of 15 schools.

The Tigers posted an eight-under 280 on Monday – the fourth-best score of the day – as Mizzou is now three-over through 36 holes.

Senior Jack Lundin continues to pace the Tigers with his second-straight round under par. Lundin is now in sixth place at -4 as he carded a three-under 69 during the second round with six birdies to his name. Lundin, who entered the week ranked 25th nationally, is aiming for his fourth-straight top-five individual finish.

Alfons Bondesson improved his standing by five spots with a one-under 71 as he sits in 17th at even par (73-71) over the two days. Charlie Crockett led the Tigers during the second round of action on Tuesday, carding a four-under 68 with five birdies and just one bogey. Crockett improved his standing by 44 places as he is now in 24th at +1 (77-68).

The final day of action in South Carolina starts tomorrow morning at 7 a.m. CT.
