Washington Finishes Thunderbird Collegiate With Two-Under Third Round

PHOENIX – Rebounding from a rough second round, Washington men’s golf shot a two-under 282 on Saturday at the Thunderbird Collegiate at Papago Golf Course.
 
The Huskies finished the tournament in 15^th, 12 shots over par for the weekend.
 
Petr Hruby led UW both on the day and for the tournament, firing a two-under 69 to finish two shots over par, in a tie for 43^rd. Teddy Lin’s 70 was good to finish two shots behind Hruby at four-over, tied for 58^th.
 
Taehoon Song had an even-par final round, coming in at five-over for the weekend to tie for 66^th. That was one shot better than Finn Koelle, who posted a two-over 73 for the third day running to tie for 70^th. Bo Peng rounded things out for UW tied for 86^th at 10-over, shooting one stroke over par.
