Washington Finishes Thunderbird Collegiate With Two-Under Third Round

PHOENIX – Rebounding from a rough second round, Washington men’s golf shot a two-under 282 on Saturday at the Thunderbird Collegiate at Papago Golf Course.
 
The Huskies finished the tournament in 15th, 12 shots over par for the weekend.
 
Petr Hruby led UW both on the day and for the tournament, firing a two-under 69 to finish two shots over par, in a tie for 43rd. Teddy Lin’s 70 was good to finish two shots behind Hruby at four-over, tied for 58th.
 
Taehoon Song had an even-par final round, coming in at five-over for the weekend to tie for 66th. That was one shot better than Finn Koelle, who posted a two-over 73 for the third day running to tie for 70th. Bo Peng rounded things out for UW tied for 86th at 10-over, shooting one stroke over par.
