COLUMBUS, OHIO — The Maryland men’s golf team wrapped up the 2023-24 season Sunday with the final round at the Big Ten Championships at the Scioto Country Club in Columbus, Ohio.
Freshman Yang Kuang led Maryland with a score of 230 (78-76-76) and finished top 50 in the league. Sophomore Armand Papaziani had a strong first round for the Terps with a score of 72. He finished with a total score of 235 (72-84-79).
Junior Florian Huerlimann and fifth-year Ben Cooper both shot a 236. Huerlimann went 78-81-77 and Cooper went 79-78-79). Sophomore Ronnie Kim shot an 82 in the first round and senior Jack Woods shot an 81 in the second round and a 79 in the third round.
As a team, the Terrapins earned a score of 934 (307-316-311) and finished in 14th of 14 teams competing.
